YOUTH & WOMEN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (YWEE)

At Bethel Network, our Youth & Women Economic Empowerment (YWEE) pillar focuses on equipping young people and women with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to build sustainable livelihoods and thrive. We achieve this through a blend of life skills development, entrepreneurship support, and financial literacy, unlocking potential, strengthening resilience, and driving inclusive economic growth. However, many communities continue to face significant challenges, including limited access to economic opportunities, skills training, and support systems, leading to high unemployment, financial vulnerability, and reduced participation in economic development. These challenges are further compounded by mental health struggles, gaps in life skills, and limited access to mentorship, all of which hinder both personal and professional growth.

Our Approach

Our YWEE approach is built on holistic empowerment, addressing the personal, economic, and financial needs of youth and women to enable long-term growth and resilience. It focuses on three key areas:

Our Youth & Women Economic Empowerment (YWEE) pillar continues to create meaningful impact by strengthening mental wellness, life skills, and economic resilience among youth and women. Through targeted programs, we have reached thousands of beneficiaries, helping them build confidence, improve emotional wellbeing, and develop practical skills for entrepreneurship and personal growth. Our approach combines training, mentorship, and community-based support systems to ensure long-term, sustainable transformation.
