Born from Experience.
Built for Impact.
Bethel Network was founded out of a deep commitment to restoring dignity and opportunity for girls and women across Kenya. One of our Founding Directors, Mary Ndung’u, drew on over 22 years of experience at Procter & Gamble, where she led community-driven initiatives and championed brand programs across East and Central Africa. During her outreach work, Mary encountered firsthand the challenges that many girls face in managing their education alongside menstrual health barriers. Through these interactions, she recognized a deeper, systemic issue, a gap in access to information, affordable menstrual products, and supportive community structures. This experience became the foundation for Bethel Network’s approach: a model built on empathy, empowerment, and education. What began as a simple awareness effort has grown into a robust, community-centered program that equips girls with knowledge, confidence, and the tools to stay in school and thrive.

With continued support from partners and well-wishers, Bethel Network aims to expand this impact to reach more counties across Kenya and, ultimately, other parts of East and Central Africa, ensuring every girl has the dignity, knowledge, and opportunity to reach her full potential.
