Transforming Health, Dignity & Opportunity

At Bethel Network, our Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) program is improving health outcomes and restoring dignity in underserved communities. We deliver integrated solutions that combine safe water access, sanitation infrastructure, hygiene behavior change, and community ownership.

The Challenge

Many communities in Kenya still face serious WASH challenges:

  • Unsafe and unreliable water sources
  • Inadequate sanitation facilities in schools and communities
  • High prevalence of waterborne diseases
  • Girls missing school due to menstrual health challenges
  • Long distances traveled daily to fetch water

Our Integrated Response

We address WASH challenges through four core pillars:

  • Safe Water Access
  • Sanitation & Infrastructure
  • Hygiene Behavior Change
  • Community Ownership & Sustainability
  •

Overall Impact (2015–2025)

  • 14 boreholes repaired and restored
  • 16 water committees formed
  • Significant reduction in waterborne diseases reported
  •
